Case Study: Welcome Sequence Revamp
The Brand: Capykicks is a NYC- based sneaker brand that creates custom canvas type sneakers for young adults. It focuses on providing accented, eye-catching designs that are uncommon in modern sneakers.
Campaign Goal: Refresh and optimize their Klaviyo welcome series to better onboard new subscribers, introduce the brand, and drive first-time purchases.
My Role: I led a full revamp of their welcome flow, including strategy, copywriting, creative direction, and segmentation. I designed new branded email templates, incorporated customer education and product storytelling, and implemented A/B testing on subject lines and timing.
I also created their new Yotpo SMS welcome flows and reworked their email lead magnet on their website.
Results:
✔ 34% increase in first-purchase conversion rate
✔ 51% improvement in email open rates across the sequence
✔ 3x engagement on “About Us” email after personalization updates
